We pride ourselves on being a predominantly volunteer run organization, so when we say we love our volunteers... We love our Volunteers!
How to Get Involved...
We make it really simple: Show up! Every weekend we fulfill that part of our mission "impacting the world by applying our faith" by serving communities through trash cleanup, food distribution, and simply praying for those in need. No training, credentials, meetings, or fear needed to serve others. It's called Adopt a Block!
We also have ongoing chances to find out what Face is doing in the community through "meat and greets" and our monthly volunteer mtg. These events are great to find out how Face is addressing the bigger picture of inspiring students to follow Christ and connecting them to service.
So whether you want to jump right in on a saturday serving someone else, or want to be apart of the effort of connecting churches and youth groups into impoverished communities and service, come on out and join us sometime soon!
Monthly Volunteer Mtg
A lot happens every month from food distribution to worship/prayer nights so our volunteers meet once a month in teams to discuss and plan ahead for the month.
6pm-7pm, 2nd Friday of every month at Living Word Bookstore
"Meat and Greet"
No Misspelling here. Every other month we have a cookout with volunteers sharing how to get involved and their experiences at Face. Bring the kids, we meet at a beautiful park.
